Code of Conduct for Youth Participating in St. Patrick's Parish Events 2017-2018

This Code of Conduct is a general list of rules and regulations for parish events.  If you have questions, feel free to contact the parish office at (308) 254-2828.

 

Code of Conduct
1. The use of drugs, tobacco, alcohol, fireworks, matches, cigarette lighters, pocket knives or items that would endanger people, pets, wildlife, or property are strictly prohibited. 2. Clothing should be appropriate. This prohibits short shorts, tank tops, and any reference to tobacco or alcohol products, including insignias or advertisements. 3. Language and behavior should exemplify Christian value. 4. Participants are expected to respect the rights and property of others. Neither vandalism nor stealing will be tolerated. Financial obligations that result from such behavior will be the sole responsibility of the youth and his/her family. 5. If this is an overnight event, males and females are not to be in each other's sleeping quarters without a chaperone. 6. If applicable, you must wear your nametag at all times. 7. No participants are permitted to leave the premises without the expressed permission of the DRE. 8. Electronic devices are not permitted, unless otherwise noted. Cell phones MUST be turned off during classes or other events. 9. Food and drinks are only to be consumed in designated areas.
Parent/Guardian Agreement
I agree that my child is expected to abide by all rules and regulations as outlined in the Code of Conduct. I agree that if my child fails to abide by this code or engages in any infraction that is deemed by the director to be inappropriate, he/she will be dismissed from this activity and I will be called to be advised that they are coming home or that I will be expected to pick them up immediately.

Participant Agreement
I have read the foregoing and understand the Code of Conduct for participants and will abide by them. I will abide by all directions given to me by the DRE, catechist, or assistants. I also understand and agree that my parents or guardians will be notified at the time of any infraction requiring my dismissal from the event and that I will be sent home.
